A failed hose does not have to mean a long stop
A burst or leaking hose can bring a machine to a standstill, whether it is on a farm, a site, or in a workshop. RS Hydraulics Ltd carries out hydraulic hose repairs from our Colchester workshop, working to get your equipment back in action with as little downtime as possible.
This page is a standalone hose repair page. Our combined Hydraulic Ram & Hose Repairs service and its area pages also cover hose work — this page is for customers looking specifically for hose repair, and it cross-links to those pages rather than replacing them.
How a hose repair is handled
Bring us the failed hose, or tell us what has happened and what machine it is from, and our team will assess the hose, its fittings and the cause of the failure. Where a hose can be repaired, we will advise on the repair. Where replacement is the better route, we can supply a new hose assembly made to your requirements, with suitable fittings and ends.
Because we stock hoses, fittings and components, and we also repair rams and cylinders in our own workshop, a hose job can be handled alongside wider hydraulic work on the same machine.
Replacement assemblies where needed
Where a hose cannot sensibly be repaired, we supply a replacement hose assembly made to your requirements, with fittings matched to your machine and application. See our Hose Assemblies page for details.
